What is your favorite childhood memory?
Playing baseball with my friends in elementary school.

Best advice received?
When I took my first preliminary test on the Bible for placement purposes, I failed. I was so discouraged, but my Old Testament professor said, “Hang in there, that’s why you are here.”

Favorite Bible verse?
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Favorite academic subjects?
Theology, International Relations, Economics

What do you enjoy most about teaching?
I enjoy the unity that is created between the students and me over an interesting subject.

Why do you want to serve in Japan?
There is a desperate need for the gospel, and I love the Japanese people.

What excites you about serving with Genesis College?
I can be part of a process which will make Japanese youth more international.

Favorite free time activities?
Reading five different books at the same time, cycling, and browsing in a shopping mall.
